What Zylo is

Zylo is a booking marketplace. It introduces customers and businesses, and gives businesses the tools to publish their services and take bookings.

The business you book with provides the service. The agreement for that service is between you and the business, including how it is carried out and what standard it meets. Zylo is not the provider.

Your account

Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

If you use a business account, you are responsible for the listing, prices, availability and staff shown under it.

Bookings

Availability and prices come from the business and can change until a booking is confirmed.

Times are shown in your selected time zone, which defaults to UK time, and prices are charged in pounds sterling (GBP).

You may be asked to pay in full or to pay a deposit when you book.

Payments and deposits

Card payments are processed by Stripe, and the card fields in the payment step are provided by Stripe. Zylo does not store your card details.

A deposit or prepayment is set by the business. Whether it is refundable, and on what conditions, follows the business's own terms.

Cancellations and no-shows

Each business sets its own cancellation, rescheduling and no-show policy, and that policy is shown before you complete a booking. Zylo does not impose a single cancellation window.

To cancel or change an appointment, contact the business or use the options it offers. Any fee is set by the business under its own policy.

Acceptable use

Use the marketplace as it is meant to be used. Do not:

  • make bookings you do not intend to keep, or book out slots to block other customers;
  • copy the site automatically, scrape it or place unreasonable load on it;
  • try to break, probe or bypass the site's security without written permission;
  • post notes or reviews that are unlawful, misleading or someone else's words;
  • pretend to be another person or business, or resell access to the marketplace.

Liability

The business is responsible for the service it provides and for its own cancellation and payment terms. Zylo provides the marketplace and the booking tools.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. The rest of the liability position is still being settled and will be finalised during legal review.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new last updated date.
